Culture. The architect of connections.
Culture
Art and culture are crucial for any society. They reflect debates, make it possible for people to engage with reality, and contribute in significant ways to democratic development. And, as Pablo Picasso said, art can wash away from the soul the dust of everyday life. Germany’s unique cultural landscape is experiencing a boost towards the future and innovation – which places additional demands on cultural policy and cultural management that go beyond artistic responsibility. This is where art is called for to bring the right people together.
Topics that we know inside out: old masters and the young and wild, classicism, modernism and digitalisation, ideas and inspiration, creativity and communication, spirit and zeitgeist, shaping social discourse, creating meaning.
“Culture and art connect people and create spaces beyond the ordinary. For encounters. For discourse. For topics that transcend the moment. I’m inspired to work with people who are passionate about exploring new ideas in this field.”
— Jennifer Rösgen
Bringing people together, facilitating understanding – and opening up new worlds.
Being a leader in strengthening what is fundamental to art and creativity, cultural heritage and diversity – this makes for a fascinating job. The breadth of this field is matched by the diversity of our experience filling management positions in the cultural sector: from municipal directors of cultural affairs to festival directors and artistic directors of major European concert halls. This area is one of ifp’s specialities, especially as we pursue our own cultural interests, both privately and as sponsors.
