Progress is spelled with an E
– for Energy Transition.
Energy Industry
We’re currently in the midst of overlapping events of historic importance. More than ever before, we need to extricate ourselves from our dependence on imported fossil fuels. This means doing everything we can, as quickly as possible, to bring about decarbonisation in the electricity, heating and mobility sectors: renewables must be expanded, storage capacity increased and the necessary system flexibility promoted.
Topics we know inside out: security of supply, efficiency, decarbonisation, network charges, regulation, electricity prices, decentralised energy, renewables, sector coupling, system flexibility, storage capacity.
“Growing up in the Ruhr area with its mountains of coal, I experienced the pressure to change from an early age. It was a hard transition, which we called structural change. Now getting to see what it can become, what it will become, is absolutely fascinating. The energy world of the future is already visible.”

Sustainable success is
measured in degrees.
The aim is to create efficient and sustainable solutions that are also socially responsible and fair – all in a highly regulated environment. Huge investments are needed, but they will bring with them opportunities for business and growth. And to thrive in a future green economy, the energy transition requires the development of new business models, too.
We are looking for leaders with the skills and nerves of steel to get things done under tight deadlines. The big interdisciplinary challenge is to drive progress while ensuring security of supply.
